Dreaming the Impossible (DTI) is an annual Christian youth gathering for young people aged 12-18s from churches and youth organisations everywhere. It is open to all streams, networks and denominations and is run by Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland.
We’re passionate about seeing young people meet Jesus and fearlessly follow him, believing that nothing is impossible with God.
Our gatherings are unashamedly all about Jesus but we try and make everything accessible for those with little or no experience of church or youth group and these young people are especially welcome to join us.
DTI is about inspiring and equipping young people to love God, love others and change the world. Our heart is that young people would encounter God at DTI and leave our gatherings knowing his love for them in a deeper way, and be ready to live out their faith back home being part of a local church.
We would love for you to come and join us in 2020.

**2) Event rules **
2.1 In order to attend this Event, anyone aged 18 or older must be coming with young people aged between 12 and 17. There must be one adult Ticket Holder (18 years old or over) on every Booking, and a maximum of six young people (under 18-year olds) per adult.
2.2 The site rules for Our summer Event are available on Our website https://dreamingtheimpossible.org/. The DTI team are there to enforce these rules and may ask Ticket Holders to change their behaviour, especially if they think there is a risk to other people.
2.3 If Ticket Holders do not comply with the site rules, the DTI team may ask You to leave the site.
2.4 For any DTI Event, Your Booking may be cancelled, or You may be asked to leave the Event at any time at Our discretion.
2.5 All under 18s must book with a responsible adult who is 18 or older. For every group of six under 18s, one person aged 18 or older must be named. These adults are therefore responsible for the Ticket Holders under their care at ALL times and must ensure their welfare during the Event. They will be required to provide a contact number for the duration of the Event.
2.6 Children (under the age of 12) are allocated to the appropriate kid’s groups according to their age at the time of the Event. When they are not in the kid’s group venues, children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians. Parents/guardians must always know where their children are, who they are with and when they are expected back in their care.
**3) Booking Payment and Terms**
3.1 A legally binding contract shall be formed when the Booking is complete, and the Fee is paid in full in accordance with clause 8.5.
3.2 To complete a Booking You shall pay to VCUKI the full Fee. Payment shall be due immediately upon completion of the Booking.
3.3 Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any digital or physical publication, correspondence or other Booking documents or information issued by VCUKI shall be subject to correction without any liability whatsoever on the part of VCUKI.
3.4 VCUKI might offer a discount on the full Fee if You book before a certain date. We call these “Booking Deadlines”. Booking Deadlines will be advertised in advance. To qualify for the discount, You must book and pay before the advertised deadline date. If You start a Booking before the deadline, this will not secure a discount.
**4) Variation and Cancellation**
4.1 If You wish to vary any details of the Booking after it is received by VCUKI, You shall notify VCUKI in writing as soon as possible. VCUKI shall endeavour to make any required changes, but any additional costs thereby incurred shall be invoiced to You (and paid in accordance with clause 3).
4.2 Tickets can be transferred for free from the original Ticket Holder to another individual on written request to the DTI team until 31st May. After this date all wristbands are printed and therefore transfers cannot be conducted in the office and will need to be done on site upon arrival. Any transfers made after the 31st May and therefore on site will incur a cost of £1 per transfer for a replacement wristband. VCUKI cannot be held liable for any incomplete Ticket transfers. Please note anyone who does not correctly transfer a ticket and is found onsite wearing an incorrect wristband will incur a cost of £40.00.
4.3 If You wish to cancel Your Booking You may do so at any time, but You must contact the DTI team by email to notify Us if You would like a refund as this will not be issued automatically. There is an admin fee of £20.00 for cancellations made before the cancellation deadline of 31st May. Cancellation of a Booking may not be accepted by VCUKI unless and until it is confirmed in writing by You. After the cancellation deadline we are unable to refund fees in the Event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. We therefore recommend that You take out holiday insurance. Even if You were not aware of the refund deadline, we cannot give a refund after that date.
4.4 VCUKI may, at its sole discretion, suspend the Event, change the date and/or venue for the Event for any reason and if You are able to attend the revised Event, these Terms shall continue to apply. If You promptly notify the DTI team in writing before the date of the Event that You do not wish to attend the re-arranged Event VCUKI shall reimburse the Ticket Price to You. VCUKI shall have no other liability to You.
4.5 If an Event is cancelled for any reason, VCUKI shall reimburse the Ticket Price to You. VCUKI shall have no other liability to You.
**5) Being on team**
5.1 In order to be accepted onto a volunteer team at DTI, we will require extra information about You. The first step is to complete the online application process which includes:

5.3 You may also be asked to complete a criminal record check. The check will disclose whether You have any entries on Your criminal record that may be relevant to Your application to work with children or young people. If Your certificate contains any entries the DTI Safeguarding Team will ask You to produce the certificate so that a risk assessment can be made. The DTI Safeguarding Team shall make a decision on whether to accept Your application based on the information on the certificate and the risk assessment they make. Their decision is final and will not be open to appeal. Failure to produce a valid certificate on request will lead to Your application being rejected.
6.1 We put as much information as We can on Our website for guidance, but We can't guarantee that the information is always accurate or up to date. The website and anything We describe on it may change without notice, including Events which You book onto. 6.3 In the Event of a breach of this contract by the VCUKI, VCUKI shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by VCUKI at the date of this contract, except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any act or omission on the part of VCUKI.
6.4 Without prejudice to any other limitation or exclusion of liability set out in these Terms and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of VCUKI to You in contract, tort or otherwise including negligence (save for any liability arising from death or personal injury due to the negligence of VCUKI or its employees which shall be unlimited) arising in relation to the Event shall not exceed 100% of the total amount paid by You hereunder.
